Rotor Wear

Out of curiosity, does anyone know how much the brake pad shaves off the 4Runner rotor over the life of the pad, .05mm, 1mm or more? Maybe another way to put it, how many set of brake pads can one rotor go though before it needs to be replaced 2, 3 or 4 sets? For clarification I’m talking about the OEM brake pads and rotors. I know there are a lot of variables to this question but if anyone has any personal experience or has technical data I would appreciate it.

The reason I’m asking is that my current rear rotor are just a tad over 18mm. I know Toyota recommended replacing them at 16mm. My guess is at 18mm it should be good for one more set of brake pads even with resurfacing.

Thanks
