Yes, has the heat shield. Tech accused me of trying to hide an aftermarket header with a "piece of metal".
I spent 4 hours this weekend trying to get it smogged, and finally got it tested and it passed. In total, I visited 8 smog places. Apparently the machines for 99 and older isn't made any more and they break all the time.
