Bought a TRD exhaust a while back and kept going back and forth as to whether I was going to keep it. I decided to take it off and wanted to put my stock muffler back on.
I ended up cutting off the tailpipe and tossed it out and only kept the muffler portion. So my solution to re-installing it was to buy a turn down tip and attach it to the muffler. It barely clears the sway bar but it clears none the less and works great.
I think it’s an easy way to make it “high clearance” and I think it just looks clean. Doesn’t make much of a difference with sound.
