There's no difference from the 2010-13 models to current models outside of the slight variations from vehicle to vehicle. I've been running 10 ply 285/70R17 for 3 years with heavy offroad use, no BMC, and have zero rubbing as long as my alignment is within spec.
I don't plan to do the BMC until i bump up to 35's and 4.56 gears. I have however now done a viper cut, inner fender liner removal, so there isn't much left to rub up front, just the body mount and fender liner in the back.
