The best thing to do is scrap the x-reas completely. I had a dealer quote me $4,000 to replace it and most indies won't touch it. The x-reas shocks & struts alone were $2,600 and just replacing the shocks and/or the struts is wasted cash if there's a leak in the system. And those prices were from several years ago and they're no doubt much higher now.
