Thanks guys, yes there is a link in there for digikey, we used them back in the 2000'.
Interesting that they are less likely to leak when in use as the electrolytic fluid thins when discharged. 105C panasonic seems to be common and what was used on my spare DSM Eclipse ECU, I'll just have to work out the microfarads for the 3rd gen and quantity, perhaps my removed 97 SR5 spare ECU is similar.
Now you are making me wonder how my old 90's Pioneer stack is holding up, I see mention that there was a plague of imposter caps during the early 90's, apparently Mitsubishi got ALL of them, lets hope Mitsushita and Denso had better suppliers..
I think I'm going to have to learn to do the circuit board work myself, very hard to get work like this done properly, I usually have to supply the caps to insure quality parts and then cross my fingers I get good work.
