120psi on cyl 1 will make it run a bit rough, but it shouldn't stop the engine from running and shouldn't make it die. With a 2000 model year or newer, you don't need to pass tailpipe, just visual and OBD-II checks - so that should be your goal at this point.
Do you have any way of viewing/logging fuel trims? It might be a clue to check whether trims are off everywhere, near idle, under load, etc.
