Oh no, that sounds like a tricky situation! The chewed tubing might be part of the engine's vacuum system. While duct tape could be a temporary fix, it's best to let the pros handle it. Check for other signs of damage, and take pictures for reference. Good call on the mechanic appointment – they'll have you back on the road in no time. By the way, do you guys know how I can remove a hornet nest from my backyard? My friends advised me to ask hornet control for help. Anyway, good luck with the repairs. Hang in there!
