Here's some more info to back you up. The LC prices assume there's no dealer markups and you can get your hands on one. When will they actually be available and at what street price? Will there be markups? Most dealers will but maybe not in your area.
As often as you're switching out vehicles you can always come back to the LC later. Toyota should have some of the new platform bugs worked out by then.
For those who say 2wd is good enough except once in a great while, the OP lives in a different world. Different every winter but this one though. Full time AWD or auto 4 hi is much preferred up north. Wish I had it but wanted the rear locker more.
