Why cant or wont you run a wheel spacer? What tire are you planning to run? A wider tire on the stock 20" limited wheels will have the edge of the tire flush with the fender. The 20" limited wheels are quite narrow, but have plenty of offset, all you need is a little beefier tire and your vehicle will look tits. If you go with aftermarket wheels AND wider tires you will have the tire outside the edge of the fender most likely.

Yes, most likely, they will be 2" wider wheel, and likely have a much different offset and yes they will certainly widen the stance.

Personal opinion, buy a 2.5" front lift, buy a 1" rear lift, stuff a set of 285/55-20 on it with the stock wheels you had powdercoated and have a nice day. Or if wider is your thing get a set of 305/50-20 and you will be absolutely rockin.
