anyone R&R rear cup holers in a 99+ center console?
my buddies broke both of mine on halloween, now i need to fix, do i need the whole console now or can i just buy the little cheesy half circle things and assy again and pop it in there?
these are the ones that come from the back of the console.
having a hard time finding info, everything is related to the 99+ console mod for earlier 3rd gens.....

Thats a good question. Are there any numbers or anything underneath the assembly or on the inside of the lid thing?

haven't gotten far enough to pull the tray out yet, i was hoping i could just get at it without taking the whole thing apart, as from looking at it , it looks like it can just slide right out... i'll see if i can find part number on the bit that's broken and go from there, does anyone else have **** head friends who dgaf and try to slam their tall boys in there like the angry fist of god? i can't be the only one whose broken these girly little things.....
i'll post part numbers if i find them in the next few hours @ my desk atm.

Yes you can replace just the cup holders. I believe its the same part as the early 2000's model corolla. I'll post up the link to where i found that.
But for the R&R, you just need to open the cup holder and there are 2 screws that hold it to the console. Take out the screws and then pull the cupholder out. done
EDIT: 03-07 corolla uses the same rear cup holders

Part number: 55604-35040-E0
About $85 at the dealer and around $64 online. You have to buy the whole cupholder assembly.

Junkyard for the win. One of the kids broke mine on the 96 so I pulled a tan one out of a 97. Way beefier arms but have a grey interior so I just changed out the part I needed. So anyway, arms on the 96's cup holder = wimpy.
You can see the screws steezemcqueen speaks of to get the assembly out.
Ick. That's kinda filthy...
