I know this might start a fight but buy a solid piece of equipment when buying a welder. I bought a hobart 140 because of it being basically a miller with a different name and my electrical outlets. I'm in the military so I can't modify my electrical at all. I'm stuck with 110v. Solid little welder. Does 1/4 easy as pie.

Rear bumper

I recently built this. I purchased plans from Bandit Runner...money well spent. I would highly recommend his bumper plans.

First gen roll bar storage unit for my buddy, with subs mounted against the headliner.

Roll bar set-up for my truck. Fully removable. Plan on doing my subs the same way as I did his.

Half doors.

Switch box

And working on a different switch box, thanks to @blcktpgsr .

Oh yeah for sure. No argument there. Sad thing is that I work for the gas pipeline company in Arizona, and my crew leader that I ride with daily is actually one of the company welders. So I get to hear all the time which welders are good and bad. We had a Miller on the truck and they just swapped out with a new Lincoln. Which didn't mean a lot to me but he was happy. I plan on trying to mess around with it during some downtime, and eventually get my own. Probably not a Lincoln. But one a little closer to my budget.

Not the greatest picture but rear bumper and roof rack mostly complete. Still have a few changes I'd like to make on both.

Cool looking bumper. Slim, high clearence, and functional. Nice looking rack too. I think I saw a build thread on that.

I did finally finish mine off not too long ago myself. The whistle is gone on the highway though. Now I'm working on more risqué projects that I will reveal when I'm done with them. The last guy who did it was ostracized lol. I am also working on a ladder. Gonna look a lot like a gobi but I think it's the only way to do it if you are going to stick it to the rear hatch.

Such a good idea for a thread, not sure how I missed it!

I made my adjustable panhard bar for $85. Easy peasy!

Any photos or write-up on this mod? Interested in making my own as well. Thanks!
