Well this is more of a things I will do.

I purchased a compression check gauge, curious how they are all holding up.

uhhh one question though i forgot to put the magnets back in on the bottom of the pan. Should I be concerned or possible solutions without removing the pan again? I was thinking maybe just stick a stronger magnet on the outside or get a magnetic drain plug or inline filter. I'm not too concerned as it has all brand new fluid, any feedback is much appreciated.

Original rear u-joint got 245,000 miles. Aftermarket got 60,000.
In other words, pulled the driveshaft today because bad rear u-joint.

Also pulled the front sway bar because the poly mount bushings were allowing the bar to move several millimeters, clunk clunk, it's pretty loose in there. Will likely replace with poly Prothane #18-1115 26mm again because the oem rubber ones only make it partway through a year before the right side gets destroyed whereas the poly lasted 5 years without issue.

Clutch hydraulic hose got replaced after only 23 years-did I already post this one? I haven't been posting everything and I've lost track of what I did where.

And stickers were added- I do really enjoy the Toyota Trucks and Trails Podcast

Oh, and we bought another car, a Highlander (tall Camry style, not the cool kind like my husband drives). It's currently got a no good very bad engine.

1st Gen V6? I recall those had some sludge issues...

I hope it was a good find! They're nice for getting around in.

Things I did to my 3rd gen today:

- Replaced the map lights with LED's.
- Plugged in the battery tender.

I should consider taking the studded winters off and swapping them over but I'm currently DD'ing the 4th gen and the '99 is living in the garage like your kid in his early 20's who left home and came back again after college...

Going shopping for wheels and suspension I think. Justification is that I need new summer tires anyway, so why not order some Fn FX Pro's?

Yep, that's the one and we're hoping so too, it's got a clean body and was well maintained so we'll see what's what and go from there.

How much did you pay for it? For the kids? The 3.3 isn’t the best Toyo engine. Saw a timing belt break on one thanks to a bad tensioner I believe.

Led interior bulbs, hood lift struts

Installed LED bulbs in the map, passenger, cargo, license plate and glove box lights. Installed the Spiker hood lift strut kit. Thanks for such a well made kit, 4Runner4Leon!

$500, for the fun of throwing an engine in. With 6 cars in the driveway now plans are to sell it for hopefully enough to recoup repair costs and mebbe a bit extra to make up for our labor.
Mostly for something else to get greasy on.

Also, it's an automatic...

Which we just started...def a no-good cylinder, it runs and drives and under 200,000 miles.
Okay, off to see where in the heck it's going to fit in the driveway (car and truck juggling).

Got my Rack Doctor rack and pinion installed with new bushings. We'll see how it holds out.

6 hours cleaning carpets. Yuck. 3 full passes, first was espresso throughout last only had occasion hints of chocolate milk colored sludge. Wife went to town wiping down all the rest of the surfaces.

New to us vehicle, it'll probably take ~20 hours till we get it clean enough to enjoy.

Wife told me I'm a dumbass for not taking before photos. Yup, can confirm... but you'd feel like a shower for even looking at what it Was like.

Yes. I touched up some minor chipping around the drilled hood support holes.
