Put another 25 miles on it driving in to work this morning. 70 on the cruise control the entire way! Sometimes it’s nice being “essential”, haha.

I've been pretty busy taking care of maintenance stuff the past few weeks. Steering rack bushings, fuel filter, valve cover gaskets, rear diff fluid change, new sparkplugs, seafoamed, and throttle body and IAC cleaning. Also got in a radiator I don't need to install since it was replaced 20k ago. Found the receipt after I already placed my order.
Still have a jerky steering wheel when going over small bumps, was hoping it was the rack bushings. I guess I'll be swapping inner and outer tie rods when I do the LBJs and see if that fixes it.

Ripped out the interior. Deep cleaned the carpet. Cleaned the interior panels to sound deaden. Installed 01-02 exterior mirror (by accident, didn't realize they were different from a 99). Both original mirrors were damaged when I bought the truck.

Y'all have been hard at it!
It's great to see all the projects Y'all are doing while life is not normal.
Keep up the great work!
Yesterday, ROSCOE helped me, my Son and a couple neighbors pull out 19 large rose of Sharon bushes that were planted along my driveway by previous owner.
For a 22 year old DD with 281K on the clock, Roscoe performed admirably!

Also got started in my sliders.

I’ll have to dig up the invoice for the lift, 5100’s with OME coils ( 881 and 890 perhaps) tires are a 265/75
Hidden winch is just a winch plate with brackets fabbed to mount between the frame rails.

thanks, will prob do something similar, have looked at other peoples ideas too for the 4runner. Good to see more pictures for ideas
the most common mounting plates are 1/5 inch....seems thin
thanks

I cut off the stock mounting plate and capped it, then just fabbed brackets to bolt to the frame in several spots. Once you get in there it’s pretty straight forward. I mounted the control box to the side.

Update: Finally finished, here's the final product! A little time consuming since I wanted it to be perfect, and it was my first time making my own. Worth it, in my opinion, saved a lot of $$$.

Not a big fan of Satoshi grills but, that came out great looking!
Bought a set of Denso spark plugs and was going to change them out until I realized I forgot to buy a new insert also. The OP for my rig stripped #4 plug 95K miles ago. Not ideal but so far so good with the insert on there.
