Thanks so much, couldn't find it on google anywhere. If it's just a case and won't hurt anything I might leave it

When you are driving along and choose to turn overdrive off it forces the transmission top gear to be 3rd gear but now allows the torque converter to lock up in 3rd gear (when overdrive is on torque converter lock up is only allowed in 4th gear). When the torque converter locks up it generates a small amount of the heat it would normally be making if the torque converter were locked up. I believe torque converter lock up with overdrive off in a stock 4Runner occurs around 40 mph at moderate throttle vs around 46 mph with minimal throttle in 4th gear with overdrive on.
TLDR; overdrive off lets the torque converter lock up in 3rd gear. The torque converter causes most of the heat in a transmission when it is unlocked.

I reached down and found my swollen clit with one hand while squeezing my own breasts with the other. He was right; once he was in, it did feel better.

I carefully adjusted my position, moving from kneeling to squatting on his cock. I brought my feet close to his hips as I leaned forward and held his knees. He held his hands on my hips as I road his cock like a jockey. My butt farted around his shaft as more of him went in, but he didn't say anything. The KY worked it's magic as I eventually impaled myself on his shaft with almost no pain at all.
I was starting to work up a sweat. I had no idea sex could be such a workout.
Vincent moved back toward the headboard, bringing me along with him. He pulled my arms back and placed them at his sides and had me put my feet on his upper thighs. I relaxed against his chest as he reached down and found my clit. He rubbed my nub until bringing me to the brink of orgasm, but stopped before I could come.
He spread my ***** lips with his fingers and commented on how wet I was. Then, he reached down with both hands and pulled my legs back, spreading my knees wide while he bounced me on his cock. My pretty feet flopped around uncontrollably while he ****ed me up the ass as deep as his cock could go. How long could he keep this up? Five minutes? Ten?
I started to feel the shudder coming on again. I couldn't believe what was happening. Was I actually going to have an orgasm from anal sex, too? His thrusts into my butt were hard and fast. My butt cheeks smacked his thighs and his balls slapped my open, wet *****. I let my head fall back and just let him **** me. I didn't even hear when the hotel room door beeped or when it closed. I didn't even know Mike was in the room until he spoke.

"Dude, are you in her ass?" Mike said loud enough for the adjacent rooms to be able to hear.
"Mags, you likin' it?" he asked.
"She likes it," Vincent said from behind me, pulling my legs apart wider. Mike looked at my clean shaven ***** with lust in his eyes, and I felt even closer to coming.
He started quickly taking off his clothes.
"Uh... uh... aren't you going to wait... for Vincent... to be done?" I managed to mutter.
"I'm not waiting for shit," Mike replied, cock already bobbing in front of him.
Vincent put an arm around my waist and positioned us so our legs were off the side of the bed. With him more or less sitting on the edge of the bed, and me half standing, half sitting on his cock, Vincent brought my feet together and bent me forward, his sex firmly in my ass.

Mike positioned himself in front of me, and I didn't need any prompting to take his cock in my mouth. I steadied myself with one hand on Vincent's knee while stroking Mike's shaft with the other. When I didn't think Mike's cock could have gotten any harder, he pushed me back against Vincent, bringing my legs back and spreading them wide enough to cause my ***** to open.

But, I do like these earlier 4Runners and this one has popped up locally. Is it maybe weird putting the older engine in the Gen3 4Runner, but maybe it's a whole thing?

Are you sure it's a 22R and not a 3RZ engine. Someone would have had to go through a lot of trouble to swap that in and make it run correctly. They would have had to change the ECM, wiring harness, transmission, and motor mounts at the very least. If it's a 22R engine swap I wouldn't touch that with a 10 foot stick. If anything ever goes wrong with it or you have to trouble shoot it you are entirely on your own. There is nothing out there that's going to be able to help you.

90010-01041 is the bulb for the ECT and Defrost button.

90010-01042 is the rear window button bulb.
Those are all Toyota part numbers, you need one of each.

Planning to replace the heater control valve and all associated hoses. Also, drive belts. Hoping the A/C belt does not give me too much of a fight (saw in another thread other members were having issues with that belt).

Made the mistake of going through a car wash last Sunday - free "deluxe" wash for their grand-opening and laziness/greed got the better of me. I forgot the antenna doesn't go down when I switch the new head unit to BT so I broke the mast I replaced a few months back. And the carwash also busted my front passenger AVS ventvisor.
New antenna and a set of ventvisors showed up today so I gave 'er a quick bath and fixed things. I don't care what anyone says; I like my running boards and ventvisors!
But I did spot something behind the running board that needs attention. I'm just starting my research but if anyone has any suggestions I'd love to hear them. @gamefeakgc pointed this out to me not too long ago but I didn't give it another thought until I saw it again tonight. (this is the front of the passenger side running board, just behind the wheel well.)

fatherohenry- that's a common rub point that I have seen on almost every 4Runner where the running board caps meet the body. I have the same issue on mine. I think a dremel to clearance the cap from rubbing the body might be the solution for me. Oh, and I share your approval of the running boards. Use them all the time entering/exiting.

Finally got around to doing the CS144 alternator upgrade in addition to the Big 3 at the same time. I followed the (in?)famous Doc's CS144 alternator upgrade. I know it's been done so many times in the past, but here's some notes -
- If you're questioning whether or not you need to replace the stock belt with the power steering pump belt, get the PS belt. It's technically possible to fit the alt in with the stock belt (I think; I didn't manage to actually get it in but I didn't loosen the tensioner all the way either), but it's significantly easier with the PS belt.
- Since the other belts had to be taken off in order to replace the alternator belt, this install took me probably twice as long as it otherwise would have, mainly since I'm fairly new at working on cars.
- Removing the airbox made getting to the tensioner bolt for the PS pump much easier, but the A/C hard line runs right in front of it so it's still a pain. I wish I had a flex head ratcheting wrench to get the job done, but I made do with the 12-point end of a combo wrench.
- My particular alternator was rated at 140A, but the test sheet I got from the manufacturer showed a max output of 164A. Thus, I would recommend going with larger wire than you think you need for maximum safety.
- Speaking of "safety" - rather than tack welding 3 washers together for the 1/4" spacer needed for the top ear of the alternator, I used electrical tape to hold them together while I put the bolt in. I then just removed as much tape as I could at the end of the whole install.
- As far as the big 3 goes, I used 1/0ga. OFC and probably only about 4-5ft total. The spacing in the back of the alternator was really tight so I had to drop the alternator again in order to get the wire lugs bolted down to that post on the back of the alt.
- I read somewhere that it's a good idea to bend the wire lug that connects the pivot bolt on the alternator (i.e. ground) to the negative battery terminal so that the wire runs back toward the firewall. I did this (see pic), but found that it was not strictly necessary. There's enough space to just run the cable as-is.
- 1/0ga. wire is a pain to work with if you're used to smaller wire. I had to pick up some wire cutters and a hammer crimper that could handle 1/0, as well as some copper wire lugs and new battery terminals.
- I filled each lug with rosin core solder and used a propane torch (again, overkill but it got the job done quick) to melt it down so I could put the wire in. I crimped it while it was still hot, but waited for it to cool down to put the heat shrink over it. Otherwise if it's still hot the heat shrink will start to contract before it's all the way over the wire lug.
- All the cables I added were sleeved with some 3/4" fiberglass sleeve from Amazon. Worked well but I found that if I cut it too short it became really inflexible once stretched out.
- And finally, for the CS144 connector, I picked up one of those oval CS144 to Denso adapters that can be found on eBay for around $15. It was plug-and-play, offers a little more flexibility than doing the wiring yourself, and overall very worth it imo.

In keeping with the usual JoeT4R fashion, I am yet again a day late. But yesterday I reinstalled my old CB radio. Got the thing back in 2014, stopped using it. But I just recently purchased a new antenna mount, which is scheduled to arrive in the next day or two. Overall it works as desired and I’m happy with my little mod
