Looks good man! Yea I’ve already noticed that they’re starting to settle in place. Probably didn’t help it was below freezing and they’re a little stiff still. Still beats the ratty 17 year old originals lol

Sweet! good job taking a picture while they're brand new, they're never the same after you get em dirty. Don't forget the driver's side hook, my brand new weathertechs came with a hook to attach it to the factory carpet from what I remember. Your picture looks like it is missing.

Nice! I looove the weathertechs. Great choice. They should for sure settle in. Mine took a little while too.
I have the two fronts, the single rear floor strip, and the big cargo mat too. Costly, but well worth the investment to keep a clean interior floor. Good buy. Enjoy!

------------------------------------

To keep on topic; today for my 4Runner I hooked up a code reader to find out what code was thrown when all three lights came on last night (CEL, TRAC, VSC). Gave me P1135.
Both new sensors ordered and should arrive to be installed soon.

Agreed! The weathertechs have already proven themselves to be more than beneficial after mudding several times.

I did that too...felt brand new and the worn out edge is almost hidden by the center console.

i tried to install crossovers for tweeters only to be defeated by the lack of space from the door panel.

back to the drawing board.

did you happen to notice if the locking/unlocking mechanism was still there? my drivers door will not unlock all of the other doors (my passenger door will...)

The units I removed from my rig did have those although the new did not as it came from a 99. On the backside of the latch assembly there was 3 wires going to a contact looking sensor and the wires appeared to almost be glued to the plastic body. This contact is what allows you to unlock all the other doors by turning either front door lock cylinders twice.

I was not very sad to delete this feature as I have remote entry anyway so its not a big deal. Also doing that seemed to eliminate the annoying double unlock cycle I would get if I had my key in the ignition and closed my drivers door. The only downside to getting rid of this contact for me is that the doors will no longer automatically unlock themselves if you were to lock a door while it was open.

Other than that, my door actuators function perfectly just as you would expect them to.
