Not today, but last night... replaced my worn out lift gate pull strap. Really easy to DIY, just some 1” nylon webbing and some heavy thread to sew it into the bracket. Maybe 15-20 minutes from start to finish?

Looks can be deceiving . Coated with a thin layer of brake caliper grease prior to installation . I don't like to have too much grease there, as it could drop onto the rotor surface or the pads, so a thin layer is all it needs.

@Boom_ROASTED Did those cables come with the new head unit or did you have to buy them? Got a link to them if you did buy them?

The two usb and one aux from behind the dash are part of the head unit

The cables in the seat I found on amazon. They have a few different styles and a few different companies selling the exact same thing

New shoes, new wheels, new look... same dirty ol' Red!

Wheel offset is about perfect, lines up nicely with the outside of my armor, but not any further 16x8 -10ET (roughly 4.00 inches BS)

New General Grabber At/x are a little taller and slightly wider than the outgoing Duratracs ( yes, they are the same size 285/75r16 ), not bad or good necessarily just noting some difference

Just finished installing my clear corner headlights from Jason at Burtman Industries. Very nice product, I'm thrilled to have a slightly more JDM-esque look to my 4runner! They also came with amber lights (which are required since the new housings are clear). The light plugs required a bit of modification to fit, but I got them to work. You basically have to cut/sand down the ridges on the sides of the plug. In the photo, the new plug is on the right and the old plug is on the left.

Had enough of the "DYK" plate, time for something more appropriate!

Clutch replacement. Yikes, what a pile of work that is. Hope I don't have to open that up again anytime soon. About 18 hours from prep to cleanup. Did the starter contacts while in there.

I wondered what the hell the noise was and notice an increased amount of wondering if the front end.

Found it!

I strapped some fishing kayaks onto the roof of my 2000 SR5, and it worked really well.
