4Runner started, then died. 1 previous hard start.
Basically, about 2 weeks ago I had a hard time starting my 4Runner, turned over about 10 times, never started. Turned the key off, turned it back on, fired right up.
Ignorantly I thought nothing of this. I also thought nothing of the consistent 14-16mpg I have been getting (typically get ~19mpg with mixed driving)
Today at lunch my 4Runner started, sputtered (went up to ~1000rpm right when it fired as per normal, then dropped to 400rpm), and died. It did this 3-4 times, until I gave it throttle while starting it. Once it got above 1000 rpm from the throttle blip, it ran fine, albeit a bit lean.
This evening I fired it up and my idle was at about 400rpm. My AEM Uego was reading --- which means my AF Ratio was over 18. While it was really stumbling I could hear a CLICK, CLICK, CLICK, about a second apart each time. It sounded like someone flipping a circuit breaker.
Once the clicking stopped, the idle went up to normal. My gauges were still reading ---. I hopped in and drove to Auto Zone to pick up my gear oil for my diffs/transfer case. While at a red light I could hear my Walbro whining due to my low fuel level. Unlike the normal constant whine, it was wavering. Getting higher and lower in volume.
I put my fuel pump in back in June. It's not even 6 months old. It's a Walbro, purchased from URD. My fuel filter was replaced about a month prior to the pump, OEM, purchased from the dealer.

Hmmmm. I was going to guess fuel filter. I think you should start there just to make sure, even if it's only 6 months old.

Yeah, I am going to check my fuel pressure first as another member recommended.
