Yup u removed it the 17mm. But it looks like a rod comes out the other end of the lower shock. I looked inside the peep hole where I removed the 17mm and it almost looks like sonething is threaded on the other side of the mount

the rod is welded on to the diff all you need to do is wiggle and pull the shock just use some wd40 or any lubrcating stuff to make it easier.

Take a pry bar of some sort and shove it between the shock and the axle and you can pop the shock right off it's perch. I used a crow bar, but a large wrench or just about anything else will work too.

Ok. I got it off it's perch. Thanks. But now I'm working with the upper bolt. I don't have a sawzall. I'm using my girlfriends daads monkey wrench. Not working. Going to autozone to get some vise grip pliers. Plus I'm doing this outside too.

don't bother with tools. bend the shock back and forth till it breaks. it'll break after bending it 4-5 times. took 30 seconds for the second shock after i figured this out.

What a waste of time. I couldn't get that 14mm off. I'll be getting a sawzall and cut them off tomorrow. Thanks
