Can't find it. Stock fog light-HID conversion

I am looking for a write up or any info on upgrading stock fogs to hid. I remember a guy saying something about the bulbs being to big so he cut a hole in the glass to make them fit. Please direct me. I searched on here via tapatalk but I haven't googled yet ill probably do that next.

Hold tight brother - I'm working on this too. My kit should arrive today and I'm going to get started on it after I change out the radiator this weekend. I've searched as well and found one thread referencing the bulbs not fitting, but I find this odd.

EDIT - As I typed this, my secretary brought the kit into my office.

i used h3c (short) bulbs in the factory fogs as i wasnt sure if the standard h3 would be too long. you have to drill a hole into the back cover for the wire to fit through. i actually ran them without the back cover for months without problems.

Where do you get the short bulb kit? Link took me to a site that only had one option.

I got my kit from the retrofit source. DDM Tuning may offer a H3C kit also. Mine was $150 all in. DDM will be less if they offer it, but I've been there done that with the cheaper kits and bought what I'm hoping to be a higher quality ballast and bulbs.
