I have and have had progressive. So far I have had really good luck with them.
So here is a little story with pics for you about how I made a comprehensive claim on my volvo, I didn't have the t4r.
My girlfriend and I went into Target for 10 min and left the dog in the backseat (about 50 degrees out). When we came out he was laying on the floor in front of the drivers seat. I told him in the back and then I started the car and BANG this happened.
It was the side impact airbag out of the passenger's seat, it bruised my girlfriend's arm!!!
Well I went to volvo and they recommended I call to see if it would be covered under my comprehensive coverage. Yes, I just had to pay my $1000 deductible.
It gets better. Volvo quoted at $3100 so Progressive wrote a check for $2100 to volvo. When volvo finished the work the total bill came to $2700. Volvo called progressive to see if the wanted to get write a check for a lower amount and they said no the claim was closed in their books. I only actually had to pay $600 of my $1000 deductible. I was amazed.
So I guess I have had good luck with Progressive. I mean they covered me leaving my dog in my car and setting off my airbags???
P.S. I have learned a very valuable lesson. Do not leave animals anywhere unattended, especially cars.

road side assistance is great, you can use it for a friend as long as your there with the card.
i pay 95$ monthly (im 19) so its a new driver account. was 154$ the first year and dropped because of safe driver discount.
What are your guys rates monthly?

Had State Farm from 16 yrs old until 27yrs, never had a claim that entire time. Got in an accident, which wasn't my fault, and they left me out to dry. Tried to ask my agent for advice, never even got to talk to him, just his secretary. I had to do all the work myself against an a-hole agent for the other person. Two weeks later, I got my truck fixed by them, dropped State Farm and picked up Farmers, who so far is much bette and cheaperr. Now when I see the State Farm commercials where agents are talking to their customers, I get sooo pissed off, cause that doesn't happen!

Travelers, i get a good rate on my parents policy (cheapest one, and have full coverage) No accidents with anyone currently on the policy, but when i sister wrecked a few times they were very good and helpful.

I've had State Farm for almost 20 years, no issues. 1 auto claim in the '90's, no biggie. I did however total a motorcycle a few years ago, they paid me out great on it. Paid $8900 for the bike, they gave me $8600 for it about 6 months later with 5,000 miles on it. No complaints at all.

Nationwide… is on your side. (in other words I have Nationwide.)
83$ a month for a 2003 Toyota Highlander Base 2.4L.
My rate for the 03 t4r went from 110$ to 93$ a month for no apparent reason.
