02' 4wd v6 - Just tipped 90k and think I'll do the TB around the 100k mark. Also to be included at this time will be (of course) hoses, belts, 2 pulleys, tensioner, water pump, thermostat, crank pulley bolt.

So the question is what else can be easily done whole all this is apart, are there any steering parts or anything else that is easily accessible and smart to do at this time- thank you in advance.

If you haven't done anything to prevent the pink milkshake then I suggest putting a radiator in it at the same time.

You didn't mention oil seals, I always change cam and cranks seals at that time.

pink milkshake

I flush radiator regularly and have no reason to think there is a problem, is there something internal i should know about or look for? seals- good call too...

With all the failures of the trans cooler in the radiator I changed mine just for peace of mind. Mine had records of proper care and showed no signs of failure, but that is the kind of thing that would keep me awake at night :)

When I was looking at 4Runners recently I found more than one that had the pink milkshake when I went and test drove them.
