Have a chance to pull parts off 99-01 4runner

I have a Stock 1998 4runner. Have the chance to pull some parts off a 99-01 4runner. What should I pull to enhance my 1998? Was thinking...

-Center Cup Holder Console
-Front headlights (or would after market be better?)
-Trim around radio and clock to get 99+ look and remove dash cup holders. What would I need to get to do this mod?
-Larger back right compartment trim. Can I just remove the trim and replace with larger compartment trim or will something be in the way?
-Anything else I should look into?

Thanks for the help guys.

So guy wants $45 for the Console (minus arm rest, rear cup holder and heater controls. This a good deal? I offered him $60 cash for the whole thing. He also wants $70 for the two 99+ headlights. Is this a good deal or is aftermarket better? Trying to see better at night as the 98 headlights suck.

I will need to drive 2 hours away for this stuff so will cost about $50 in gas round trip. Will be a nice Sunday drive though.

From my research the bezel (radio surround) with the updated clock location and vents is not worth it, the wiring is a mess to get the switches to work, there is no writeup on it, and the only guy that did it, sold his truck and is no longer on yotatech, and i'm not even sure he got all the buttons working.

Center console swap is very easy. I have a writeup in my sig, you should also grab the overhead console while you are at it.

Ya,

Actually just got done reading your thread about the bezel. I actually like your idea of having six cup holders and in the end the set-up is just fine. Do you have a writeup of the overhead console?

If OEM, grab those headlights at that price. Heck, I'll take 'em. Aftermarket pattern sucks. Ask me how I know. And auto recyclers want double that or more for OEM lights.

Grab what you can take what ever you can fit into your car. Tail lights and headlights would be good idea and OEM roof rack as well. Take the windows u never know when u need to replace one.

If the headlights are in good shape that is a good deal.

The 97 lid fits on the new console, you just don't get the cool feature. I never did a roof console writeup, but bob did: His is very straightforward, remember when you cut the headliner, you can always take more off, never put more on.

Cool, that puts a smile on my face now knowing that my 98 led will fit the console. $40 bucks saved right there! Now I need to fix one of my rear cup holders. Half of one of the holders is broken. Any way to fix these so they are functional again? My step dad put his coffee cup in the broken one and it slipped off and spilled on the floor. I told him he found the only damaged part on the truck.

Thanks for the link to the write up.
