addicted offroad front bumper
anyone with the AOD front bumper thought about putting some plates on it to make it more solid? i like the way it looks but my rig is a dd more than off road and seem like a lot of gaps on it and many things are exposed. I'm not hating on there bumper I'm interested on buying just wanted to know some more feedback on it from some people who have it on there rig. any help or info is appreciated.

the thing is that the AOR bumper is purely for rock crawling, so they didn't worry about tree branches sticking through or mud and water caking on the radiator, that's what ARB and Skrockwork bumper is designed for. but i think it'll be pretty easy to make a filler plate.

Or you could buy a Badlands bumper. Best of both worlds in my opinion.

I was thinking of it for my buddy's runner that needs a new bumper. I sent him the link and said he actually likes the tube option better.
TOYOTA BAJA TUBE WINCH BUMPER
We're both in Tampa FL. Which there seems to be a general lack of people on this forum from central Florida..boo

Not a lot of hills there!
Well, let me know if he decides to do it. If you want, we can look into some freight shipping places. I can pick it up and drop it off someplace (I did it for someone else here too) to save a few bucks on shipping.

Oh I see they are in your neck of the woods. It would need to be shipped though, I don't see how else we would get it. Got any idea how much it is to ship a bumper like that? I appreciate the offer btw!

Yeah, I meant picking it up and dropping it off at a freight shipping place. It can be cheaper for big heavy things.

At first I didn't like the "unfinished" look but I have to say it's grown on me.
And I think if you added too much plate to it, it would add a lot of unneccessary weight, too.
