Rear Hatch Window issues

My rear window fell on the right side over the weekend. Brought it into a local Toyota dealer, I know a fella there very well, going to cost upwards of $600 dollars to repair. We managed to get it closed, closed is where it will remain. SUCKS big time as I love that rear window!

RIP rear sliding window.

Hit up a salvage yard and pull the parts you need. or do you need a new window?

No the window is ok, my understanding is it needs a new regulator and some other parts associated to the window tracks (Bearing's or ball's) and the clip's that attach to the window. When I have the time I will investigate. It's really hard to find used parts up here in Canada, in the US you folks seems to have a much better and cheaper selection. I have hit up the local yards in and they have limited amount of 4runner stock.

Does anyone have a diagram of the inside of the hatch..preferably the whole window Assembly??

I would do as Nelsonmd has suggested. Tinkering with the rear-window assembly is an easy DIY, as well, so it's probably not so hard for you to get it running without too many problems. Just don't do something you can't undo.
