Trd coils hitting UCA?

So i was going to run the toytec eibach 3" coils but since their out of stock i might just run the trd coils but i"ve heard that sometimes they hit the UCA can anyone personally running the 5100/tundra combo tell me if this is true?

They don't hit the UCA. The section of the spindle that surrounds the UBJ contacts the coil @ full droop.

Your results may vary depending on how you orient the coils when you install them, whether or not you re-torque the CA's @ lifted ride height, and how heavy a wheel/tire combo you run.

need to orient the coils a certain way, bottom coil ends inboard IIRC.

That's how mine are setup, per the instructions from Sonoran Steel. See results in pics above. Bottom coil ends outboard is the way to go for the best chance of avoiding spindle/coil contact.
