Tailgate window
Hi everyone, I was thinking about getting rid of my 2000 4runner but you know the one feature that I really love about my car is the ability to lower the tailgate window... I haven't really seen this feature anywhere else...

Does anyone know if the newer 4runners have it and also if any other cars have this feature?

The new runners still have the power tail glass, and they get the one touch auto down feature, maybe up as well. I also believe Sequoia's have the same setup. Other than that no other SUV's that I know of, Bronco's and some older station wagons had that feature as well.

Yes the 4th gens have the power rear tailgate window (hey it wouldn't be a 4runner without it!)

Inside there is a button for power up and down. They key fob can also LOWER the window but CANNOT raise it. You can also go to the back of the truck and put your key in the tailgate to RAISE and LOWER the tailgate window.

Well no one would blame you if you got rid of your 2000 and got yourself a 4th gen 4runner
