Guys (and gals),
I'm working with Kody (creater) on getting these kits to those interested. We just really need someone to be our guinea pig first. I will be taking on the responsibility for sales and support once it gets launched. Let's get this rolling!!

What's involved with being the guinea pig? Would this be something he installed? I am local so I could be more hands on if needed, in interest of helping out a fellow entrepreneur at least.

Let me see what he is willing to do as far as a discount for the "guinea pig". He may not charge at all.

It wouldn't take much. He has an idea of how it's going to work. He needs to do a little snooping and eventually need a truck to install it on. Like I said, let me check with him and see if he's willing to do a discount.

A discount of any type would be great and a deal dealer most likely. The old beater needs a few, more necessary parts but I love a cool mod.

JMT is moving to Florida sometime this month. Not sure if he'll be in the area, but I can ask him.

I have done push button start It really isnt that hard. The set up that he is running can be done for $20 with some wire taps and some extra hardware. The best way to do if if you want to go keyless completely is get a rfid (radio frequency identification) cut off that can be mounted in line of the 12v power going to the ignition. That way no one can just flip a switch and push a button and off with your rig. Those are a bit expensive and if you lose your rfid key your fudged and problably cant get a new one.
I had to find another way of starting my 4runner because the ignition wouldn't make it to start. I just removed the relay and replaced it with a 30amp button. When doing that the other 2 pins for the coil half of the relay have to be jumped because that completes the circuit to the safety system like start in drive. I didn't like tapping into the wires coming out of the ignition switch If something fried there then I have nothing.
Because I have bypassed the computers and stuff I can start in any gear witch is nice at times.

The push button side would be nice, but it's the proximity part that I really want. To have the ability to leave your key in your pocket would be killer! I always enjoy that part when borrowing a friends car with that ability.

Kody, I'm happy to cruise over one day soon, I was just over that way last weekend actually. Pm me some contact/schedule info and we can set something up. I work aboard NAS Whiting as a civilian so I don't know about getting onto base over there.
