***** ass alternators?
I've fried 2 alternators by getting them wet on my '99. This really sucks when you're out in the bush, and need to get home...So frustrated right now. I'll have pics later. I drove through rivers in my Pathfinder and the alt never skipped a beat, but these things take one dunk and they're done...

Anything you guys do to help prevent this , short of staying away from water?
