TRD Transcooler owners or similar cooler owners check in please

Hey guys just checking to see what you guys with TRD, B&M coolers of similar sizes drain and fill to?

i usually drain and fill about 3 qts. with out the trans cooler and now since having it i have drained and filled about 4.5 qts.

How much fluid are you guys filling in your guys trans and coolers?

Disconnect the send line and let the trans pump out into a bucket as you refill from the dipstick. Takes ~13 quarts IIRC to flush it. Not sure the value of only changing 3qts.

4.5 sounds closer to what I have used in the past, I honestly don't know that I ever changed it before having a cooler added in line to give a "stock" comparison.

I just hooked my cooler up and when I disconnected the lines let them drain into a clear bottle and filled the it with the amount that drained out. should I add more?

use the dip stick I put a 12x6 cooler with longer hoses and put pint in and checked the dip stick. Its not like a radiator that is a lot of space so only little extra is needed.
