identify this plug

The plug is located right below the oil filter. The wire was not connected to the plug I need to know if I should get this replaced immediately and how to? I think it was a single green wire.

It looks like the oil pressure switch.

It sure is. It controls the oil light on your cluster basically telling you that you have oil pressure when you start the car.
