^^^ I sold them the week I was home doing the swap. Sorry. I don't really have anything from the parts truck left. I would've loved to keep it, but has no where to put it so I had to scrap it.....

Nice job on the flat belly. Its definitely on my to do list. However, i don't really see the benefit of converting to leafs. The stock link setup flexes plenty good with the right set of shocks and springs IMHO

The benifit was the cost. I have about half of what a Sonoran Steel 1.2A costs into this lift. Plus, it's something very few people have done to a 3rd gen. Why not be different, and get something out of it?
Plus, I needed to do something for the 8.4" diff that I had. The housing is a 8.4" out of a Taco, and it was easier to just do the leaf swap rather than cutting and fabricating all the other coil suspension stuff.

Definitely unique. No arguments there and i can appreciate people trying something new. But a set of used LC coils and some bilsteins is really all it takes to get the rear to flex well. Also, i don't see any shocks in the back yet so you can't really compare your setup to the SS1.2 as that includes shocks and i am guessing that you didn't factor that into the cost yet.
Either way, its definitely cool to see the fab work put into it and i'm not trying to trash you for swapping to leafs

Thank you gentlemen. She's still not done yet. I'm supposed to be out there working on her right now, but I had to fab some stuff up, and its hotter than two rats getting it on in a wool sock. Here's some more pics for your enjoyment. I have the pics of the stuff I just fabed, but thier too big for Imageshack. Guess I'll just have to go outside and use the phone.......
Better shot of how she sits now. This is without a driveshaft, gastank, or spare in the back. That should drop it down a little bit and make it sit somewhat level. Also, hopefully I can fab up a rear bumper some time soon, as well as a front. If not, just gonna have to crank up the DRCs....

I actually did it myself. I found some RealTree fabric in a local store, took the panel off, and wrapped it. I plan on doing more, I just need to get all this other stuff done first.

No. The Heep is my sisters, and I will NEVER own one. That thing SUCKS. The tranny went a month after she had it, blew lines off it TWICE, and it doesn't start right, and is weak as hell.

Well, we all know I need bumpers. I've been sitting in my room all day, couldn't get the starter, so I came up with these designs. Keep in mind, these are done freehand, with nothing but a ruler and some tracing paper to use for the front of the Runner.
These are the pics I used to draw the bumper. I started fabbing one up a few months ago, but never got around to finishing it. Had too much other stuff to do.

Here's the front shot of the bumper. The Red lines are obviously lines on the truck that are supposed to be there, the black are the bumper. Ignore the short black line on the left.

I want the bumper to attach to the same place as the skid plate, while covering the front plates on the frame. I also wanted to follow the lines of the grille/headlights, hence the circular stinger.
Whatcha guys think?
