Legal tint not bad
Daughter is taking the 3rd gen off to college soon so decided to get the front windows tinted today. Been wanting to do it for a while now. Had to keep it NC legal so had the guy install 40% (max is 35). Turned out nice i think. Makes the interior darker all around so makes the other windows appear even darker and the factory tint helps make the lighter legsl tint appear darker and blend better.

Probably an out of line comment for an old married fart like me. If you are young and single, i dont consider it out of line until a certain level of respect is breeched. So a.wilson, not knowing that much about you or the nature of your request, this is all i am going to give at this point.

and this what i keep trying to tell my wife, boys or nothing, i can't deal with sitting on my porch with a shotgun trying to protect my daughter, being a guy i know what little bas****s we all are/were! haha
op: my new rig happened to have the windows tinted like yours and living in Washington it's not really that big of a deal to have tinted windows as it's never really that bright, but i must say it does make the rig look that much cooler! do you know what type of film they used?

Not 100% sure. I know they use quality stuff. A couple of satisfied customers referred me to the place and I had the same guy strip and replace the tint in my daughter's previous car because it was too dark and wouldn't pass inspection. It came out super nice and stayed that way. They had a banner hanging in the shop that said "Python Film" but I have no way to know if that's what he actually used or not. I'm taking my pickup over tomorrow to get the same thing done to it. I just got it leveled out and added new wheels and tires and I think the tint job will set it off nicely. This truck is 8 years old and I'm getting it ready to hand over to my son next year.

lol
I let my gf drive my truck every now and then. She tells me she gets all kinds of looks lol. Even when I'm with her and she's driving she'll get looks. It humors me.
Great looking 4runner and offspring. I hope she does well in school and keeps that 4runner safe!!

Someone with a sense of humor!
OP, I meant no disrespect, just poking some fun. Good looking girl though!
Also, the tint looks better than I expected... I may go legal some day...

I can perv with the best of them, but I can't imagine much participation in a "post your daughter" pic thread. Post the neighbor's daughter thread - and I'm in! LOL
Awilson - no disrespect taken, or I wouldn't have posted the pic.
The tint will help keep the interior cooler and looks nice but a side benefit will be that it cuts down on the road gawkers being able to get a good look on the road.

40% TINT!!! thats like factory light. they must be strict there. I put 15% over factory on my Yukon, and 15% on the front two, the cadillac I just sold had 5% on the back sides and 15% everywhere else, never had a problem once.
