when do i use H4L?? and L4L?

H4 is for you normal 4wd usage and 4L is for climbing or getting unstuck. 4L is rarely used on road if ever unless you're in really deep snow.

thx.. hey btw is you 4runner have uneven front suspension??

my rightside is about inch higher than my driver side... it seems uneven lil bit... how about yours?

I don't think H4L is used on hard pavement. I have the button on the side of the 4wd lever for H4, which doesn't lock the axles and can be used on highway as long as you switch it on or off under 55mph.
Feel free to correct me if this isn't right.
