Diff drop question

Hey guys Im having a little trouble finding a thread that is fully relevant to my question. I'm wanting to lift my Runner 2 inches. I only need a diff drop if I lift it 3 inches right? Also I read alot about how the 4th and 5th gens are always having trouble getting their wheels aligned after lift. Is this an issue on the 3rd gen? Also if it is relevant as to what I'm lifting with, its 2" spacers and if I know what Im talking about then Im pretty sure they are topside spacers because they sit on top of your coils. TIA!

You should not need the diff drop for a 2" lift.

You should also have enough alignment adjustment to bring it back in spec with a 2" lift. 2.5" and up and we start losing the ability to bring the caster back into spec, which leads to wandering and what feels like a worn out front end.
