Rusted out bumpers

Hey all-
For whatever reason my phone won't let me type in the search box and I don't mean to be redundant. Has anyone had a positive experience with a company about replacing their front and/or rear bumper covers? My chrome pieces really look like someone shot them with a shotgun. Any suggestions on companies? I have chrome now but wouldn't hesitate to switch to black primed pieces if they cost less. And does anyone have experience actually replacing them themselves?

Junkyard or part-out thread. Installation should be a no brainer.

I did them. I got the rears off e-Bay and the front from Certifit. I covered the backs with bed liner (they rust from the back). So far so good. Not perfect, but good enough.

On installation--start at each wheel well and work towards the rear. The sides come off before the center. You may have to break some of the bolts, I did. Also, to get the step off, you have to climb under and pinch the fingers so they come out of the holes. in the bumper. Once it's off you can get to the last bolts in the bottom corners of the liftgate opening.

The DietCoke and aluminum foil trick works great for attacking any surface rust.

I'm not sure how to add a picture from my garage but there's a couple pictures before and after on what my rusted/dented bumper looked like. The paint was like $80 for a half pint but I had extra left over. Also since the 3rd gen bumper comes in three pieces you can buy them off Amazon.
