I did them. I got the rears off e-Bay and the front from Certifit. I covered the backs with bed liner (they rust from the back). So far so good. Not perfect, but good enough.
On installation--start at each wheel well and work towards the rear. The sides come off before the center. You may have to break some of the bolts, I did. Also, to get the step off, you have to climb under and pinch the fingers so they come out of the holes. in the bumper. Once it's off you can get to the last bolts in the bottom corners of the liftgate opening.
The DietCoke and aluminum foil trick works great for attacking any surface rust.
