wait you actually bought the extended warranty? if you did not yet DONT.

its worthless for you, because 4runners, especially ones of mileage as low as yours, require such little maintenance as far as "warrantied work" is concerned.

if you pay lets say $1k for a warranty to 60K miles... in that time, i guarantee you wont have more than $300 in "warrantied work", and some of that is uneccessary (CEL for the MAF).

sorry to go off, but i learned this the hard way.

You first need to smell the wet spot. If it has an off smell, it could be antifreeze. This is the worse case-scenario. That would most likely mean the heater coil has a leak. If it is just water, you need to look under your hood and check for the a/c drain where it drips after you have it on. If it is not dripping at all while the a/c is running, you most likely have a plumbing problem (leak) somewhere in your air conditioner system. The easiest solution is to check for any way water could get from outside of your car into it. I, for instance, have a rubber wire port used to run wiring from the engine compartment into the car. I have the same problem, but on the driver side floor. I have just siliconed the hell out of the port and hopefully that will fix my problem. Hope this helps you! JD

check your a/c evaporator drain hose. They come off and leak on your carpet

I had same problem on my 90 runner. Check the a/c evaporator drain hose for clogs or kinks

Could possibly be really bad. I would say it might be a bad front heater core and thats without being able to see it. Im not too sure a bout 4runners but you might have to take the whole dash out to get to the heater core. anyone chime in to correct me?
