Tinkergnomes Clone Trooper build thread

Well it is a little late in the build for a build thread but i guess little late is better than not at all. With that said my rig seems a little lacking when compared to the other rigs I have seen on the forums. Think I will keep it fairly stock for now

Any way it is a 97' SR5 2wd I picked it up for 2500$ after my Pathfinder finally died on me.

This is what she looked like when i first got her well fairly close to it minus the tires

Since getting her home.
  • New Tires
  • Shocks
  • Oil & Filter
  • Plugs, Wires, & those Stupid little boots
  • Front o2 Sensor
  • Fuel filter & air filter

Today I picked up another bumper and apron please excuse the mess in the work van

Oddly enough the replacement turn signals that i order Saturday were sitting in front of the door when got home:
Still a little annoyed that my roommate who has been home all bloody day did not answer the door when fed-ex dropped it off

Well a couple of hrs worth of work and she is looking pretty snazzy

Still on the todo list
  • UBJ & LBJ
  • Tie-Rod Ends
  • Radiator
  • Transmission flush and filter
  • Coolant Flush
  • Struts need to post pictures since they are the original Toyota ones from 1997 yikes
  • Get Toyota to fox the rear springs

I do have all the parts just not a lot of time or space but getting there.
Other things to do black out the bumpers and logos, possible do the satoshi-mod, still need to get her wired for sound I have 2 Diamond Audio D612d4 12" subs, Keenwood amps, Parrot Asteroid head unit, and Clarion 5.5 components to get inside. I also have a 99+ center console to install eventually

Nice work. Huge difference on the look of it and gives it a whole new life!
