Diff drop bolt question - Skid plate issue

Does anyone have the dimension and thread info on the bolts I need to do my own diff drop? I already have the 1" spacers.

Also, on my skid plates, when I pulled them to do the oil change, one of the bolts sheered off and I have to drill it out then re-tap it. There looks like there should be a number of rubber bushings under there to keep things quiet but they are all missing. Is there a cheap alternative to the Toyota parts counter? I can't stand rattles

Thanks for the help

Cant help you with the bolts but none of my 4runners that I've owned have had rubber bushings on the skidplates.

Thanks, I am so new to the Toyota world I really need to dig in, get a manual and READ. I hate not knowing about my vehicles!

So you have the spacers but don't have the longer bolts?
Remove a stock one and go to a good hardware store. When I need a specialty bolt, I go to my ACE hardware. There also is a great metric bolt store in town. Most of the time you can find more SAE bolts than metric. Make sure that they are a high strength (check the stock bolts)(probably grade 8 or class 10.9). Fine thread is also better.

Get bolts that are 1" longer than stock.

Thanks for the input. I was just trying to avoid getting a ride from someone. Dont want to drive it with only one bolt in. Rigs like your's are why I bought mine. One day I will look that good.

Do you live in the Denver area (looking at you screen name)?
AAA Metric is awesome for metric bolts.

I wish I had the measurements, but mine are installed and under a skid. Maybe I can find my stock bolts and get some measurements off them.

Im in Highlands Ranch (the other Utopia LOL) I have always been a Jeep guy, so no idea how to off road a 4runner? Not planning on any crawling or anything, but like to be able to run up a trail when I want. Helps to get away from the yahoo's that like to "camp" out of their cars, make too much noise and leave their trash everywhere.

We can change that.

I have searched for my stock bolts nut can not find them.
Call ToyTec, Jeff or Dylan, and ask them for the size.
