Need help with valuation of a 2001

I am considering making an offer on this 4runner
TOYOTA_4-RUNNER_SR5_2001

Pros:
Maintainance. Under the hood, and underneath it is very, very clean. Just had timing belt service done, new tires. All maintainance in the last 3 years done @ the dealer. Interior is very clean.

Cons:
-Some minor cosmetic issues. Sap on the hood, some of the body cladding is scuffed, dent in the front bumper. Over all minor issues.
-Needs a windshield
-No keyfobs for keyless entry.
-1 small dent on hood, looks like a hail dent.

Other:
-No sunroof, not a dealbreaker, but would be nice
-Not my first, or second choice for color.

He is asking $7,500.

What say ye? I'm considering offering $6800-$k. Would love to hear what others think.

I think it's pretty fairly priced but can't hurt to offer him a little less and see what happens. Ask about lower ball joints and tie rods. If those haven't been done, they're due. Use that to negotiate with him. For what it's worth, I love that color.

What about this one? I have not looked at this one because it's out of my price range but curious what others would offer as a starting price.

no sunroof would be a deal breaker for me personally... kbb on the first one is about $6-6.5k, but then you would subtract out the cost of a new windshield.

second one's kbb is about $6.8-7.4k but since it's supercharged with fj wheels that could bump it up a bit.

personal opinion, KBB isn't a great indicator of value on these things. They're getting too old and can vary so much in condition, options, mods, etc to place a lot of weight on their number. Might be a good place to start but I'd place more weight on researching the local market and seeing what people are asking for them and what they're selling for. I've bought way under and considerably over KBB depending on the specific 4Runner I was buying. I'm not disappointed with any of them. My $0.02

It looks like a pretty good price for Denver. I'd offer $6800 and see what he says. You'll probably get it for $7200.

Checked it out. Needs tie rods and probably ball joints but other than that it's in great shape. Supercharger is nice!

I made an offer contingent on an inspection.

Looked like seller was asking for mid range. With verified service, this may be a nice deal. Not a lot of factory superchargers; 2k + for new TRD kit.

Oh and as a bonus, it's got a rear locker which was not advertised

I think it's got every single option for a 2000 that I am aware of.
