Stereo wiring diagram or color of power antenna

I'm going to try to tackle adding a switch to my power antenna today and I want to know the color of the wire that leads to it before ripping my console apart. I've been searching for a diagram, but every one that I find doesn't list the color of the power antenna.

Does anyone have a wiring diagram for a 2001? Or just know the color of the antenna wire?

I thought it was the blue wire. On mine, the orange was the dimmer.

Cool. Thanks, appreciate it. I'm heading into Toyota right now to pick up a part. Gonna ask them to see if they know.

My orange wire on the Toyota side was the antenna. I attached it to the blue wire on my Pioneer radio harness.

I just put a switch on mine so I can turn it off with either the radio or cd player on and it was the blue one. I will try to go out and double check and get a picture for you if I can. It is really nice having it on there. You can go to a car wash and still listen to the radio or cd just by hitting the switch to off.

Well Im an idiot. The blue one is of course for the aftermarket radio. Here is the connector for the stock harness. Notice the black/white wire and then the pink/blue. On the aftermarket harness there is the blue one that connects to the aftermarket radio and then there is a blue loop that goes from the remote/power antenna wire back in to the connector next to it which then goes to the pink/blue. I connected my switch from the blue of the aftermarket radio to my own wire that goes to my switch and then from the switch to the blue of the aftermarket harness which connects to the black/white.

Updating this so it might help someone else. On my 96 it was super easy.

1. Pop the E brake cover loose and move it to the side. No tools needed.
2. Pop the shifter cover over and move it up and back a little.
3. Pull out the AC switch and knobs off the heater control slides.
5. Lightly pry off the cover and take out the two screws holding the bezel in place.
6. Unplug the two top plugs and the radio plug below them lay panel out of the way.
7. Find black and white wire on the larger plug. I cut back the factory sheathing to allow more access. I also cut this wire because then the switch is working regardless of what radio is installed now or later.
8. Wire in a simple on off switch of your choice and locate it where you want.
9. Put things back in reverse.
10. Have a beer and enjoy a simple but useful mod.
