Probably more than you are willing to spend. My dad was a painter at a premier shop so I basically got it done for 500$. A ballpark figure would be about 2-4K depending on where you go. Go to Maaco or something of a lower tier like that and probably 1k. You get what you pay for though.

99 SR5 4WD. Almost completely bone stock, except a pioneer touchscreen headunit, and those lovely LED corner lights.

I do want to ask your guys opinions about what color to paint my headlights when I do my projector retrofit. Stick with chrome, or do something else? My buddy said do something crazy like matching the lights with the red pearl. Any suggestions?

I'll bump this old thread with a pic of my new daily driver. 1997 SR5 with 224k miles.

Recent 3rd gen swap

I went from a rusted 2002 Desert Gold Limited with ~158k to a 2002 Sunfire Red Pearl/Thunder Cloud Limited with ~137k miles. Far less rusty. Spent a bunch of years in Wyoming as per the title.

The fuel door is also now Sunfire as it needed repair when this was taken. Figured I’d use the clean pic since it’s already snowed and been sloppy here a few times.

Pretty fond of the color. Though my 98 sr5 in Anthracite is probably tops.
