Nope, not here in OBX, even though the amount of water being moved is immense and waves on sight are topping 15ft. The power of churning water is the biggest threat to all, as seen during the Japanese earthquake last year.
That 4runner is in Hampton VA. I know where that location is.
we are sticking it out here in greencastle pa, we are not evacuating but are under state of emergency, the storm hasnt made its way to use yet but its coming right for us, my back yard already has 3 foot of water
I'm in the central part of NJ so no evacuating. My parents' house had a bunch of fallen trees, had to help my dad cut and pull them away from their driveway (shared by several houses),they lost power late last night. A branch hit my driver mirror hard enough to knock the glass off, popped it back in. I live 5 minutes away and still have power.
A friend lives by the shore (Beach Haven West near Long Beach Island) and her boat ended up on the road, two streets away from her house.
