Pic request: 285's with OME 890's or 906's
Hey guys. As some of you know, I posted my '99 for sale due to a change with work. However, I'm really having second thoughts. But if I keep it, I need to make it considerably more civilian, if you will. With the LC springs it's way too high in the back, wanders on the highway, sketchy on off ramps, etc.
But, I just put 285/75/16's on it about 1500 miles ago. Don't want to buy tires again. So I'm thinking I'll go with shorter springs in the back, get it down a little. I need it to be a little easier to drive 500-1000 miles/week, need it to be client friendly, etc. I can adjust the front down if I need to since I'm on 5100's but I think being on the 2nd notch, it will sit pretty level with 890's.
So, please post up so I can see what it'll look like. I'm not overly concerned about flexing, etc. It's a mall crawler. And honestly, it's way to clean to wheel.

Oh, btw: keep the truck, put 890's in the rear. I know your gas mileage is going to suck, relative to car....but that is too nice a rig to let go.

So no BMW 530 then? Why not have both? The Unicorn looks real nice, but not client "suit" friendly. When I pick up international clients from the airport for work, I am allowed to take the boss's RR Sport or Evoque.
If you are going to have folks in the rear for some time, I'd go the 890s, for the 906s I have can be stiff and a little harsh with Billys.

Wifey drives a '11 Maxima. I can steal that on occasion. At least until I buy something else. I'm just having second thoughts about selling it, it literally needs nothing. All the known issues have been addressed very recently.

I put LC shocks on my dad's old Runner with 890s. Rode great! Good stance. Had 285/75/16 Terra Graps.

Switch
I am thinking of making this same switch, love the LC coils for flex but as a dd the road wandering and ride isn't the greatest. I only get off road a few times a year so I feel the adjustable billies and the 890's for the rear would be a good setup. Let me know what you do Pitbull!
COB are you sitting level?
