Picture Request

Can I see some pictures of 3rd generation 4runners lifted or on 20-22s? I'm sure some members on here have a setup or have pictures of others with a setup thats similar. I'm about to buy a 4runner and would like some setups to look at. I appreciate it!

alright, i think i can help you out on this one, as i have had a 4Runner with 20's and lifting it afterwards... i choose to lift it because not only does it ride better with more rubber, but i was tired of looking for curbs and keeping them clean (huge pain in the @$$) it looked really good with the 20's but everyone has rims, and if you have 4wd, you should use it.

I appreciate the pictures!

Anyone else out there have any pictures of any 4runners?

Also, I've been doing some hardcore research and I'm not too familiar with the structures of 4runners, but how come there arent any bigger lift kits than like 2-3"? and where could i find some or get more info? Thanks in advance.

use your search button, i would try yotatech.com to find out about lifting 3rd gens. im pretty sure there are larger lifts, its just what do you want to do with it, do you want to show it, or actually take it out and offroad in it? the reason i only have a 2.5" lift is to keep my CG as low as possible, once you start getting sideways suvs dont feel too comfy. if you just want a big truck, there are quite a few people who have very large 4runners, but use the search button here and on yotatech to get any answers you need, most of your questions have already been asked/answered and the search button means you dont have to wait for people to reply!

I'm sure they are in there somewhere. i did a search and didnt turn out the results I'd like. sometimes questions are answered better when asked by yourself.

I currently own a Yukon and I'm a big member on another forum. I know all about searching for things and annoying questions, I was just wondering because I've never done research until now about modifying a 4runner. And I'm not going to show it. It will be a daily driver and will see some off road use, not necessarily mudding, but it will be driven through trails. But at the same time I'd like to keep my gas mileage down and maybe even drop in a TRD supercharger.

Not too long ago, I submitted a good picture (for this application) to a site that lets you choose different tire sizes and lifts to see how it looks. It's not "picture perfect", but it gives you a very good idea.

Here you go:

http://www.rims-n-tires.com/rt_simca...Model=4-Runner

P.S.:
It would be nice if more people posted pictures on that site. It's a great tool, and you even get a personal thanks for submitting!

Cool

Here is mine... it's lifted. I have a 3.5" suspension lift with a 2" body lift. I am running 33's on 16's. I think it's beefy enough... bigger is better looking, but not practical by any means.

:goinposta

I don't think a 4Runner belongs on anything bigger than 18's IMHO. The truck is a mid size and those wheels are way too overbearing for our trucks. If you want anything bigger than 20's, I say go with something like an Expo or Yukon or the like.

Why yes it is... I was at Charles' house when he and another YotaTech member helped me with my 2" lift.

Erik your rig looks sweeeeeet. I can see why Jeanna dislikes that you removed the boards tho. Is it hard to get into without the boards on? Even if it was I think I could somehow manage.
