Savage tube bumper weight capacity

Does anyone know if there is a recorded weight towing capacity for the trailer hitch on the savage off-road tube bumper (rear). What's the heaviest load you've towed with it. Im kind of worried because I have already ordered it and I pull trailers alot. I tow on average 3 to 4000 lbs. Everything from horses in horse trailers to misc. Ranch equipment, and everything in between.

I think you're going to have some issues but luckily you still have your factory receiver right? If not, I'll ship you mine free of charge but only if you get that savage rear bumper redirected to me

Just kidding, you should be fine. I'm sure it meets or exceeds the factory set up.

Put your mind at rest. I know Roy from Savage pulls his 20 foot trailer all the time about 4,000 lbs and he has had no issues since he put it on three years ago. He also pulls his horse trailer with it. No issues. Don't worry and enjoy your bumper

Thanks guys! And cj80cruiser ill get ahold of savage and have them send the bumper over your way...... Yeah for a miniute there I was worried but if its as strong as you guys say it is then I should be all right. I know that you can order the bumper in HREW or DOM and from what I understand, its its a plating? Ive never heard of it. Is it like galvanizing?

HREW is hot rolled electro welded
DOM is drawn over mandrel

This is just the process in which metal is formed into shape. DOM is stronger because it is cold formed. HREW loses some of its strength being heated but it is still strong. Not sure if savage uses HREW or DOM but you should be fine with either.

No, it is not a plating.
