whitson metal works......he's got a special running right now as well, he does both full length and half length, i had the load warrior before it was crushed by a tree and really prefer the full length one i have on there now, totally changes the look of the truck.

I have a Yakima Loadwarrior with the extension and so far it has been great. I have pretty much all the accessories for it so I can carry my hi-lift, shovel, and spare tire. The rack is really well built and can handle the weight without a problem.
Although, I will say that in the future I would like to get a full length rack (i.e. Gobi, Whitson Metal Works, etc.) that attaches to the factory tracks because I really like the lower profile they provide.

I have the Yakima load warrior with 2 extensions, it fits just right. I also reversed the mounting brackets so it sits nearly flush with the roof. It's kind of a weird set up but if you want more info I can
Don't mind the middle cross bar, it's actually not needed and I've been too lazy to take it off

no offense but your like 600 into your load warrior now, and i know i sound like a sleezy sales man, but for that money the other full length racks are much better quality, thicker wall tube, one piece , and just all around more stout, i'm really just letting you know as i've owned both and while the yakimas are good/great racks the other custom built ones are in another class all by themselves.
with the op, i can see the $200 difference between the load warrior with and extension vs the other full lengths but whitson does make a 3/4 rack as well that's the same price if not cheaper than what your looking at doing now, and it's low profile with out any weirdness ....
3/4 length for "Asking $375.00+shipping as shown." he might have a christmas special running right now, you need to pm and ask
my old truck with the load warrior
death of the load warrior
new truck with new rack
yep, so that's it and my view on it, go with what you like though as it's your money and your rig, plus i can;t have to many people running around with the same mods as me, it makes mine special, lol, good luck in your choice!

King don't get me wrong I like your new rack more than my Yakima, but finding a Yakima basket on Craigslist was cheaper than buying a new custom fit rack.
Plus in the future I can always swap my basket onto other cars or I can sell and have a better resale market.
OP I wouldn't buy new, look for used on Craigslist.

OP, the racks mount directly to your factory rails with hardware I provide. There are no plastic brackets or towers, its a rock solid install that takes 10 minutes or less for the 3/4 length rack.
Izzardking, thanks for the comments, your truck looks awesome in those pictures! Your new one of-course without the tree trunk mod

I'd also agree with Izz. The low profile rack of the Whiston looks amazing on these and the price is far better than the Gobi. If I were to ever get a roof rack, that would be the one for sure.

I'd like some more info please. I hate the raised look of my Yakima.
