Front diff binding after engaging 4hi/4lo

Hi guys , I've been having multiple issues with my truck and I just remembered about this one this morning when I took my truck out.As an example: After engaging either 4hi/lo the truck has no problems at all, I get my destination and shift back in to 2wd.When I get back in to the truck and I try to move ,the driveline binds .I usually give it a little power and it then un binds, what is my problem here?

It's been doing this when it was at stock height and now that its lifted (no diff drop).

are you sure both diffs are the same gear ratio? have you had to replace a diff? you sure its the diff, not the Tcase or a CV axle?

When trying to go from 4HI/LO to 2HI are you turning your steering wheel? If you are turning your steering wheel at the same time you are engaging or disengaging 4WD it will bind.

No I do not turn the steering wheel at all when I shift it.

Singtoe: Nothing unusual happens when I shift back into 2wd.

Little scenario where this happened:
Went weeling with a friend to check out a new spot late at night, all went well .At the end of the trail I disengaged the 4wd ,drove home and parked it.Next morning leaving for work the drivetrain was binding when I wanted to leave.

Note:This does not happened all the time, just randomly.

It should not bind after sitting over night. From that scenario I would start looking at your parking brake and check all gear oil to be safe.

sounds to me like your still in 4wd, even though you think your in 2wd... the actuator on the ADD is probably gummed up... i think your truck is just having a hard time coming out of 4wd
