How much of a lift do you have? This the exact wheel/tire size and height I'm after. Thanks.

I've seen these on a few 3rd gens but most seem to have at least 1.5-2" of lift. Would they fit with without rubbing at stock ride height?

Hey im looking at getting wheels for my 4runner but can't figure out if they will fit. No info on here about them fitting 3rd gen 4runners

Black rhino stadium rims
6x5.5 lug
16x8
-10 offset
4.11 BS

I'm looking for rims that DONT need spacers to clear brakes, AND give a little poke from fender for more aggressive look. Would these fit that bill? Any help or point in right direction will be apprieated

Just got my 4runnner

Been looking at getting new wheels for my 3rd gen. Has some interesting Ford OEM wheels (only what I was told. Have not taken them off to look yet) but they are 15s and I've been looking at getting 17s so I can do the Tundra 231mm caliper and rotor upgrade for the brakes. Being able to see the wheels on my model before buying is such a big help. I'll post when my new ones come in!

Currently running Vision Soft 8 wheels, 16x8 4.0"BS and unfortunately I had to trim my calipers to get em to fit. I remember seeing reviews saying they fit 3rd gen 4runners, but I forgot Sports had bigger calipers and didn't realize it until installation. Gonna need replaced eventually if I want to do the TBU, and new brakes are definitely in order
Definitely like some of the options I see in here.
Shitty pic but all I have right now

Does anyone know if the motegi mr150 fit the third gen? Im looking at the 16x8 size, to got with my 265/75/r16. and just want to make sure they will properly clear everything. The truck came with the 15inch rims.
part #MR15068068700

Here is the current setup with tacoma rims(16")

In case you're still curious, yes, they should work (can't comment on TBU, though). I just put on 16x8 -10 Level 8 MK6's with 285/75R16 Wildpeaks and they have slight rubbing in reverse, but I just need to trim a little from what I already did for my old 32's.

Looks great to me. I'll see if my buddy would like it for his incoming 4Runner project. We'll work on it after we finished installing the shocks and toyo all terrain tire on the current Wrangler project. Wildpeaks looks good as well.

Those are JBA UCAs I see, right? If so, caster out your wheels some, they're made to increase the amount of caster from stock (but with a stock bumper you're just gonna start rubbing the other way before you fully utilize this amount)
I too have Widepeaks and I when I did have my stock bumper I just so happened to get right in the sweet spot with my first alignment to where there was nothing at all, but after I took it in for another suddenly I had rubbing in reverse as well - usually worse on one side. Going off road it's only gonna get worse with flex
Also, very slick wheels. Really like that color.

Thanks for the info! They definitely rub in reverse (moreso on the drivers side), but I have a 1/4" strut spacer that I'm about to put in the hopes that it'll give it the clearance it needs. It also rubs slightly when fully locked to one side, so fingers crossed!

Can't believe there's been 9 pages and almost 8 years of this thread without a good ole rattle can rim special! I guess I have to represent the "too poor to get new wheels but still want to look cool" community and show mine here...

Probably because this is the "aftermarket" wheel thread.
