Is everyone ok?
Are you getting any insurance money? It was the other drivers fault.

Everyone is fine. The wreck just happened about 3 hours ago so I haven't had time to discuss money yet. But, it was his fault and it was a Aramark corporate truck, so I'm sure they have good insurance. I really like my 4Runner and I really don't want it to be totaled.

Don't worry it is not totalled...that is the good news...the bad is that it may not be anyone's fault due to the weather (icy roads) so at least check with your ins company......Glad you were not hurt in the fender bender......

I'm willing to bet your inner fender is bent to hell too... between that and the radiator support, it's going to be spendy. I hit a deer this summer and that was just cosmetic (hood, bumper, grill, headlights) and the estimate came out to $3k.
I'd personally be pulling for a total because body work is never all that good and that amount of damage is never usually truly "fixed."

Yep, the inner fender is bent up pretty bad. I can't tell what else because I can't open the hood. When I get it to the house this afternoon I will inspect it further. I talked to my insurance company and they said that from the way I describe the accident, it will be the fault of the other driver.

I hope its not totaled but I think it's going to be damn close. If the airbags deployed there would be no doubt, really hate see a 4runner bent up like that. My son totaled his 97 at Christmas, it's sickening to see. Best of luck.

The bad news is I'd almost guarantee its totaled if it did core support damage. The good news is that you will be able to buy it back cheap, fix it, and still probably come out way ahead.

I'm really hoping it's fixable. I looked long and hard for this one. 99 Limited 4x4 with rear locker. Clean as can be and the only issue cosmetically on the interior is a little wear on the driver's seat. Carpet is nice and clean. All maintenance was kept up and it had never been in the mud. I'm afraid I won't find another in equal condition

I think you may be right. That's a rare find. I'm sorry to see that you got hit.

Damn man, that's a bummer.. Being that a business truck hit you they ought to have really good insurance. Especially since Aramark is pretty big. Whether your 4Runner has been totaled or not, they should take care of you. Glad everyone was ok though. I can see the traffic built up pretty well in the background of that first pic lol
